This Privacy Policy explains how NOVION processes personal data in connection with the NOVION website at https://www.novion.pl/ and the NOVION Telegram bot. NOVION is a job search and job discovery service focused on employment opportunities in Poland.

1. What Personal Data We Process

NOVION applies the principle of data minimisation and processes only data that is necessary for the operation of the service and the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Telegram Bot

When you use the NOVION Telegram bot, we may process:

• your Telegram User ID;
• your Telegram username, if available;
• your selected interface language;
• your selected search city;
• your selected employment category or sphere;
• your notification subscriptions, including the selected city and employment sphere;
• information about your interactions with vacancies, including application clicks;
• information concerning acceptance of NOVION's privacy terms.

1.2 Website

NOVION does not maintain a separate user account database on the Website. The Website may process language preference, cookie consent preference, and technical information processed by Google Analytics (only when consented).

2. Purposes of Processing

Personal data processed by NOVION may be used for service operation, matching vacancies, generating service statistics, handling user communications, and measuring website analytics.

3. Legal Bases for Processing

Depending on the processing activity, NOVION relies on: Performance of a service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Google Analytics

NOVION uses Google Analytics 4 on the Website as an optional analytics service activated only after user consent through the cookie consent mechanism.

5. Telegram

The NOVION bot operates through the Telegram platform. Certain information is processed through Telegram's infrastructure in accordance with Telegram's terms and privacy policies.

6. Vacancy Applications and Contact with Recruiters

When a user selects “Apply”, NOVION records the interaction for service statistics. NOVION provides a direct Telegram link to the recruiter or agency. The user decides independently whether to contact them.

7. Recipients and Service Providers

Data may be processed by Telegram, Google (Analytics), Vercel (website hosting), and recruiters/agencies when independently contacted by the user.

8. International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, NOVION relies on applicable legal transfer mechanisms required by GDPR, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

NOVION keeps personal data only for as long as necessary for service operation, subscription maintenance, or until deletion is requested by the user.
